Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join the quickly expanding QA team. The goal of the department is to deliver defect-free products.

As a QA engineer, you will design and implement tests, debug, and make corrective actions. You play a vital role in the company’s product development process. You will be responsible for testing the product before launches to ensure that the product is free from errors and reliable.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain optimal test cases,
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using testing tools like Cypress
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs using JIRA.
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and ba) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results - Jenkins as well as Cypress Dashboard
  • Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies.


Requirements

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in QA
  • Experience with Rancher
  • Experience with writing basic queries in Mongo.
  • Communicate in English - both Read and Write


 Preferred, but not required

  • Automation Tool - Preferred Cypress with JavaScript
  • A scripting language - Preferred Python
  • Proactive in seeking solutions and proposing improvements
  • Attention to details
